Guide to Cannabis Dispensaries and Clinics
Cannabis dispensaries and cannabis clinics are popping up all over, and it seems like there’s one on every block! Depending on the state in which you live, they vary in legality, and those details should be checked before you visit. But with such a high demand for this plant-based medicine, it’s easy to understand why these places are so prevalent. Given the multitude of dispensary mississauga and cannabis clinics available for purchase or medical registration, we thought it helpful to share some basic dos/don’ts of navigating this brave new world.
From our perspective, here are some things you should know before you make your first trip to your local marijuana dispensary:
Make sure you have a medical reason for using this plant and be prepared to explain it clearly to the budtender or medical staff. Many states allow medical use of cannabis, but let’s keep this clear: Cannabis is not legal in all 50 states. As state laws are changing (and changing drastically), we don’t want anyone getting in trouble with the law because they weren’t informed.
If you’re visiting a cannabis clinic or your local weed dispensary for the first time, it’s best to bring someone that’s been there before with you. This person can act as a guide and help answer any questions during the purchasing process.
A good marijuana dispensary will be clean, decently lit, and well-lit, with quality products that will work for what you need them for. A good dispensary will have knowledgeable staff who can answer any questions about their products or suggest other products that might help you. If a dispensary or cannabis clinic isn’t clean, it’s best to find another place where you can get the help you need.
Some dispensaries have specific hours of operation; make sure you know these hours before heading over so that your first experience doesn’t become a missed opportunity! Many of them have extended hours on Saturdays, however.
